An original play by Santa Fe's own Rosemary Zibart, directed by NMAL's new Artistic Director Nicholas Ballas, featuring Suzanne Lederer, Barbara Hatch, Paul Walsky and Nicholas Ballas.

In CITY MICE, two estranged brothers — one an urbane New Yorker and the other a hippy farmer — meet in a remote Vermont farmhouse to wrangle over their divergent pasts while contemplating their waning futures — with the help of poetry and pot.

Based on a true story, Theresa Rebeck’s new play rollicks with high comedy and human drama, set against the lavish Shakespearean production that could make or break the aging Bernhardt’s career.
